Scattering Seeds of Truth, Faith that Blooms in Revival.

Psalms 27:13-14 NLT

Yet I am confident I will see the Lord’s goodness while I am here in the land of the living. [14] Wait patiently for the Lord. Be brave and courageous. Yes, wait patiently for the Lord.

this week I’ve seen the Lord’s goodness in ways I never knew possible. Things I can’t quite put into words or can’t speak of yet.

But the highlight of my week was teaching my son the definition of bravery. As we completed his first and according to him his last mountain hike. As we ascended up the .3 mile hike . He and I both faced our fear of heights to take in this beautiful view.

well I took it in … he on the other hand buried his head in my side and refused to look around. After I caught my breath and took some pictures we started our descent. Throughout this trip his commentary was “this is crazy”, “this is dangerous” , “this is insane”, “why are we doing this” . I kept encouraging him and about half way down I told him thank you for being brave and coming with me. He responded “im not brave im scared out of my mind!” I chuckled and I asked “do you know what brave means? ”

he answered ” yeah it means not being scared”

I said “no, it means doing something even if you are afraid. You’ve been very brave today.”

Sometimes isn’t that how we feel with our heavenly father? He asks us to do something scary or unknown. But I’ve learned that sometimes to see the goodness of the lord , we have to do what he calls us to do , and sometimes we have to do it scared.

Sometimes we have to climb a mountain squeezing tightly to HIS hand the whole journey. Trusting He will keep us the whole way.
